Our Primary Project:
As We Rise School
Currently: The As We Rise School in Muridke, Pakistan
At the heart of As We Rise is our pilot school for underserved girls in Pakistan. Currently, we’re proudly:
-
Renting a modest building that serves as a safe, nurturing educational space
-
Educating 39 bright young students, many of whom are attending school for the very first time, including religious and ethnic minorities (Pashtun, and Christian students)
-
Providing a holistic learning environment that covers academics, and community-building

Despite limited space, this school has become a symbol of hope and opportunity; our mission is possible. It's happening. Every book opened and every question asked is a step toward breaking cycles of inequality.
What’s Next: The Literacy Initiative
Our next chapter focuses on empowering girls to tell their stories.
Through our upcoming Books Beyond Walls program, we aim to:
-
Introduce a structured digital literacy and storytelling curriculum
-
Train girls in typing, and creative writing
-
Help students author original children’s books reflecting their lives, dreams, and identities
-
Launch a “Traveling Library” — where students will share these books in storytelling sessions with younger children and university students in surrounding areas
Our Future Goal: A Bigger School for Broader Impact
As our student body grows, so does our dream. Our next goal is to purchase a permanent school building that can:
-
Accommodate more students from the local community
-
Provide stable classroom space, a library, and areas for workshops and storytelling sessions
-
Serve as a community hub for educational programming and youth empowerment
Join us in building a brighter future
We’re not just teaching girls how to read...we’re helping them write their own futures. Whether through funding, partnerships, or simply sharing our story, your support makes a difference. Any contribution is worthwhile.

Together, we rise.
